Hi, my name is Rachel DeAngelis. I have my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a second Master's Degree in School Counseling. I began my career with working in the school setting for a number of years providing solution-oriented therapy. Working with children in the school exposed me to a variety of struggles that children face such as anxiety and ADHD. I used many therapeutic interventions to help the children in the school setting.
Since transitioning out of the school, I most recently have been working with children who struggle with significant trauma and specifically sexual abuse. My experience working with children with abuse and trauma history expanded my scope to utilize many new techniques and strategies to help children and their adult caregivers. I enjoy working with families and I seek to help everyone I work with to find a better way to cope with day to day struggles.
